Welcome to Emantra

Emantra is an Australian Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) with offices in Brisbane and Canberra, a national footprint of owned infrastructure, a national 24/7 SOC.  We offer sovereign-hosted and managed cybersecurity services to government agencies and companies large and small.

We are amongst a very small cohort (less than six) of Australian-owned businesses operating at PROTECTED level under the federal government’s Hosting Certification Framework.  This involves regular independent assessment of our facilities and systems under the IRAP Program, at substantial investment.  This means we can service corporate and government needs for advanced security, availability and performance needs in Managed IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Cyber-aas.

Emantra presents a unique combination of sovereign practitioner experience over 20 years, cyber-risk expertise, premium facilities and young minds and ideas.

This year we are celebrating our 20th year of growing business.  We have grown from being one of Australia’s first and largest Microsoft Software-as-a-Service partners in the 2000s to now playing a prominent role in protecting Australia’s cyber future. We have been well awarded over the years for our innovative solutions, and our attentive and reliable approach.

So, welcome!  Challenge us!  Support Australian businesses and resources like Emantra in your next MSSP selection!   We’re ready to hit the ground running and promise a refreshing, open approach built on strong  relationships with no corporate bureaucracy.

GREEN CREDENTIALS

Emantra takes its green obligations seriously.  We recognise that servers and infrastructure generally are energy intensive.  We take the following steps to reduce our carbon footprint:

  • We invest significantly in the latest technology and the most energy efficient machines available.
  • We use virtual servers where possible to minimise our gross power consumption.
  • We select sovereign data centres based on a number of criteria including security, reliability, connectivity and, importantly, power and water usage efficiency.
  • We require our data centre providers to disclose their PUE metrics, which are monitored to ensure their relative efficiency and continual improvement.
  • We require our data centre providers to commit to a carbon neutral outcome by 2030.
  • Currently, our major data centre provider reports that it:
    • uses 100% renewable power in Canberra,
    • will be carbon neutral by 2030,
    • complies with environmental legislation and internationally recognised standards (including AS/NZS ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems), and
    • ensures that there is no water wastage across its entire operation. All cooling water is recycled.
