We Are Emantra

Emantra is an Australian-owned, private, small-to-medium enterprise with a company headquarters and national 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) located in Brisbane CBD.

Since it was founded seventeen years ago, Emantra has grown from being one of Australia’s first and largest Microsoft Software-as-a-Service providers, focusing on web enablement and network optimisation, to now designing and operating high-availability gateways and compute and storage platforms for government. We provide services to federal agencies involved in the national security landscape which are classified at the highest commercially-available level of outsourced hosted activity.

Emantra is one of only a handful of Australian businesses operating with government-grade IT security certification. We present a unique combination of sovereign practitioner experience, cyber-risk expertise, premium facilities and young minds and ideas. And we make these resources available to you, whether you are an existing hosting customer of Emantra or not.

So, challenge us – we’re ready to hit the ground running. We promise a refreshing, Australian approach of strong personal relationships, no corporate bureaucracy and no time wasting.

  • We use virtual servers where possible to minimise our gross power consumption.
  • We select sovereign data centres based on a number of criteria including security, reliability, connectivity and, importantly, power and water usage efficiency.

  • We require our data centre providers to commit to a carbon neutral outcome by 2030.
  • Currently, our major data centre provider reports that it:
    • uses 100% renewable power in Canberra,
    • will be carbon neutral by 2030,
